who is Irina Anghel?

I am a queer Romanian interdisciplinary artist, with a focus on theatre and the wider field of performing arts.

With a BA(Hons) in World Performance from East 15 Acting School, theatre training across 4 countries and experience in devised and collaborative performance, I've reached the conclusion that versatility and the constant pursuit of knowledge are desirable qualities for the modern theatre practitioner. 

​

Curiosity, indecision, and a refusal to settle on a singular field of practice are what brings design, visual arts and poetry into discussion. That and the lived experience of fringe theatre, which often involves (and necessitates) a multitude of hats worn and plenty fingers stuck in a wide range of pies.

But the bush has been beaten around too much, here are some of my skills and practices that may come in handy for your next project:
